The WVU PRT is a shuttle/train system that offers a continuous loop of stops at stations on Walnut Street, Beechurst Avenue, Towers (on Evansdale Campus), Engineering (on Evansdale Campus), and Medical Center/Health Sciences (in Health Sciences Center). While school is in session the schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm (continuous loop). If the PRT is not running, a large amber colored light in the “free speech zone” outside of the Mountainlair and outside of the PRT stations will flash. In the event the PRT is not running, busses will be picking up outside of the Mountainlair in its place.
You must be WVU student and use your student ID to swipe into one of the PRT stations listed above to board. Weekend and evening buses are provided for hours when the PRT is closed.
